Mail or deliver the completed original summons with the court seal and copy of the complaint to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. Also include any other documents that accompany the summons and complaint. Once served, the original summons will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed. You will be responsible to return the original to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail or deliver the original Judgment Debtor Summons or Notice to Show Cause to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. Once served, the original will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed. You will be responsible to return the original to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail, deliver or fax the completed Subpoena to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. Once served, the subpoena will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed.
Mail, deliver or fax the order of notice to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. The Order of Notice must be served 14 days prior to the return date. Once served, the order of notice will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed. You will be responsible to return the original to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail or deliver the completed original Writ of Attachment to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. You must indicate whether the Writ should be recorded on the Unregistered or Registered/Land Court side of the Middlesex County Registry of Deeds. You must also state which type of recording you would like for:
Unregistered:
- General – any and all property located in the County of Middlesex
- General with Parcel – any and all property located in the County of Middlesex including but not limited to property located at a specific physical address. Include copy of deed or book & page for recording.
- Specific – property located at a specific physical address. Include copy of deed or book & page for recording.
- Special or General & Special – property standing in the name of another. Always required a copy of the deed of the property.
Registered/Land Court:
- Always requires Certificate Number, Book and Page
- The original Writ of Attachment will be returned to you after completion of recording with the appropriated return of service.
If you require our office to notify defendant after recording, indicated mail or serve or return without notice in your letter of instruction.
Mail or deliver the original Execution on Money Judgment, a copy of the deed which included a metes & bounds description of property & an advance fee of $75.00. to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. You must indicate whether or not you have recorded a previous writ of attachment in this matter and if so please supply a copy of the attachment filed at the Registry of Deeds or supply the date, time and book & page of the attachment. Please indicate if you wish this to be a Levy & Suspend or a Levy & Sell. If a Levy & Sell is requested, please also supply a list of all lien holders and an advance payment of $500.00. The original Execution on Money Judgment will be returned to you with our return affixed. You will be responsible to return the original to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail or deliver the completed original Divorce/Separate Support Summons with the court seal and copy of the complaint to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. Also include any other documents that accompany the original summons and complaint. If you have a motion with a hearing date, please deliver the paperwork to our office as soon as possible. These papers must be served in hand to the defendant and several attempts may be necessary to complete service. Once served, the original summons will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed. You will be responsible to return the original to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail or deliver the original petition or citation with the court seal or a true & attested copy thereof, to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. These papers must be served in hand to the defendant and several attempts may be necessary to complete service. Once served, the citation or petition will be returned to you with the return of service affixed. You will be responsible to return this to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail or deliver the completed originals (Domestic Relations or Contempt) Summons with the court seal and copy of the complaint to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. Also include any other documents that accompany the original summons and complaint. If you have a motion with a hearing date, please deliver the paperwork to our office as soon as possible. These papers must be served at least 10 days before the hearing date and can be left at the home address of the defendant and also mailed to the defendant. Once served, the original summons will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed. You will be responsible to return the original to the Court in a timely manner.
Mail or deliver the original capias to Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. You must also supply a contact person’s name and phone number, amount owed and any other information that you have regarding the defendant. Address, phone number, etc……
Mail or deliver the original capias to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. You must also supply a contact person’s name and phone number, amount owed and any other information that you have regarding the defendant. Address, phone number, social security number, employment information, vehicle information, etc……
Mail or deliver the completed original notice to quit/eviction to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. The original notice must be served on the defendant. When service is completed, a true and attested copy of the notice to quit/eviction, with our return, will be returned to you. You will need this to bring to court for the next step of the eviction process (Summary Process Summons & Complaint) if necessary.
Mail or deliver the completed original Summary Process Summons & Complaint with the court seal to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. Once served, the original summons will be forwarded back to you with the return of service affixed. This type of service must be served at least 17 days before the hearing date. Once served the original Summary Process Summons & Complaint will be returned to you and you must file it at least 10 days before the hearing date with the Court. Please check with the Court for the exact date of hearing, date of entry & last day of service.
Mail or deliver the original Execution for Possession to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. A fee of $300.00 is required in advance. When we receive the execution the Civil Enforcement Unit will contact you for further instructions.
Mail or deliver the original Execution on Money Judgment to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Civil Division. A letter of instruction must accompany the original execution and must give specific instructions as to what is being seized, business, vehicle, equipment, etc… A fee of $300.00 is requested in advance for a seizure. When we receive the execution, the Civil Enforcement Unit will contact you.
